Editorial & Creative Portrait Photography Sessions
Observation is listening with your eyes. I create cinematic, art-driven portraits that capture more than just a face—we chase the mood, the light, and the honest story behind the image.
A powerful close-up portrait against a vibrant red studio backdrop. The model's direct gaze and the rich color saturation create a bold and confident statement.
An intimate portrait with wind-swept hair across the model's face. This shot captures a soft, dynamic moment, focusing on natural beauty and subtle emotion.
An experimental studio portrait using a sheer curtain and a single light source. The image plays with transparency and shadow to create a dramatic and ethereal effect.
An 80s-inspired studio portrait with a minimalist aesthetic. The model's pose and styling evoke a sense of effortless cool, shot against a simple grey backdrop.
A candid moment of pure joy from a cinematic portrait session. The model's spontaneous laughter while drying her hair creates an authentic and relatable image.
A classic portrait against a red background. The model is captured in profile, with soft lighting highlighting her features and the rich texture of her hair.
A high-angle shot from the red background series. This perspective creates a unique composition, emphasizing the model's pose and the flow of her dress.
A black and white version of a portrait from the red background series. The monochrome edit with a soft vignette adds a timeless, vintage quality to the image.
A moody black and white edit of a profile portrait. The soft focus and grain create an atmospheric and introspective feel, transforming the original color shot.
A close-up black and white portrait with a soft, dreamy effect. The focus is on the model's expressive eyes, creating an intimate and captivating image.
About Editorial & Creative Portraits
I don't believe in standard, stiff headshots. My portrait sessions are collaborative efforts where we define a concept—whether it is the raw emotion of a studio setup or the cinematic mood of an editorial shoot. We work with professional lighting and styling to ensure the final result is a visual narrative of who you are right now, not just a static image.
My approach to creative portraiture is built on the belief that a photograph should be a feeling. Whether we are in a studio setting in Delhi or exploring a specific location in Hyderabad, I prioritize atmosphere and authentic expression over forced perfection.
For models, actors, and creative professionals, these sessions are a deep dive into character. We use dramatic lighting, careful color grading, and thoughtful styling to build a portfolio that stands out.
The Process
- Concept Development: We start with your vision. If you have an aesthetic in mind, we build the mood board around it.
- The Session: I guide you through posing, focusing on movement and natural reactions rather than static poses. We typically spend 3-4 hours, giving us enough time to experiment with lighting and find the right vibe.
- Post-Production: I handle the editing to ensure skin texture is preserved while enhancing the overall color and mood. You receive a set of high-resolution, magazine-quality images ready for your portfolio or social media.
I shoot primarily in Delhi and Hyderabad but am open to travel for specific editorial projects. If you are ready to move beyond the usual headshot and want to create something that feels like a still from a movie, let's connect.
