Legal Analysis and Public Advocacy
Engaging in national legal discourse and maintaining direct connections with the judiciary to stay at the forefront of constitutional law.
A screenshot from my live debate on News Tak, where I provided legal analysis on the investigation into the Adani Group. Being a voice in national conversations on law and justice is a responsibility I take seriously.
Another frame from the News Tak panel discussion. Engaging with the media allows me to demystify complex legal proceedings for the public.
A memorable moment meeting with Hon’ble Justice Pankaj Mithal of the Supreme Court of India. His insights and ideas have left a lasting impression on my own legal journey.
About In the Public Eye
When you see a lawyer analyzing a case on national media, you are watching them practice the same logic they will use for your petition. My work on platforms like News Tak involves breaking down complex constitutional questions for the public, which is exactly the same process I apply when arguing for your rights in the Supreme Court or a High Court. Clarity in the studio is clarity in the courtroom.
Being in the public eye is not about visibility for its own sake. For me, it is a practice of intellectual discipline. When I appear on a panel to discuss an investigation into a major corporate group or regulatory mechanisms, I am filtering massive amounts of legal data into coherent, actionable arguments. This is the exact skill set required when I am drafting a writ petition or preparing for an admission hearing.
Why Public Advocacy Matters
My presence in media and my interactions with members of the judiciary serve a dual purpose. First, it ensures that I am constantly debating the latest interpretations of the law, which keeps my practice sharp. Second, it allows me to demystify complex legal scenarios for the public. If I can explain a cheque bounce litigation strategy or a constitutional argument to a national audience, I can certainly explain the nuances of your case to you and the court.
Bridging Policy and Practice
I do not limit my practice to textbooks. My work as counsel for the Ministry of Consumer Affairs has given me a deep look at how regulatory bodies function. When combined with my courtroom experience in the Supreme Court, this creates a unique vantage point. Whether it is challenging unfair government actions, managing high-value civil disputes, or seeking relief in criminal matters, my approach remains consistent:
- Deep Research: Building grounds through rigorous constitutional study.
- Strategic Filing: Ensuring that every petition is designed to secure notice or interim relief immediately.
- Consistent Communication: Providing real-time updates on listing dates and court orders.
Nyay, Nishtha, Dharma is not just a motto for me. It is the framework I use when I walk into a studio or a courtroom. I believe in the 'Zid' to win, and I apply that stubborn commitment to every client who entrusts their legal battle to my team.
