Grand Living Spaces: Designing Layered Interiors
We treat living rooms as the narrative heart of a home, balancing large-scale architecture with intimate, comfortable seating arrangements.
A view across the Magnolia project's living area, showing the seamless flow into the dining space. The arrangement of sofas and bespoke chairs creates multiple zones for conversation, all unified by warm wood paneling and a consistent palette of refined textures.
This perspective of the Magnolia living room highlights the interplay of form and light. The sculptural Wishbone chairs and textured side tables from our Koko collection add artistic notes, while sheer curtains diffuse natural light, creating a soft, inviting atmosphere.
A formal seating arrangement in the Magnolia residence, anchored by the bold, artistic 'Sex and the City' coffee table from our Koko collection. The vibrant yellow armchairs provide a confident splash of colour against the neutral tones, showcasing our balanced use of statement pieces.
In this Camellias apartment, the living room is a study in layered textures and curated art. The custom ribbon veneer wall provides a warm, sculptural backdrop, while bespoke sofas and a Gopi Gajwani painting create a space that feels both sophisticated and deeply personal.
Natural light floods this living room, highlighting the rich materials and thoughtful composition. The space is designed for entertaining, with multiple seating areas that encourage conversation, all centered around our custom Koko coffee tables and grounded by a luxurious rug.
A wide view of the Camellias living room, demonstrating how we use furniture to define space. The L-shaped sofa carves out a cozy corner, while the arrangement of armchairs and console tables creates a sense of balance and flow, leading the eye towards the art and windows.

About this collection
We design living rooms as flexible stages, not static showpieces. By arranging seating into distinct zones and anchoring them with custom statement pieces from our studio, we ensure that a large space remains intimate enough for two people to have a quiet conversation while still being capable of hosting a large gathering.
A living room should never feel like a museum. Whether we are working on a sprawling residence in the Camellias or a modern villa, our focus remains on creating a sensory narrative. We start by defining the architecture, ensuring the room feels proportioned before we place a single piece of furniture.
We often use ribbon veneer wall cladding or stone accents to add depth, avoiding the flat look of painted walls. Our approach to luxury is quiet and textured. You will see us layering materials like brass, velvet, and reclaimed teak, which reflect light and create a calm, tactile environment.
The furniture we place here comes from our own Koko studio. This allows us to control the scale and proportion of every 'Tango Bar' or curved sofa, ensuring they do not just sit in the room, but actively define it. We believe in bringing together high-art pieces by names like Gopi Gajwani or Kingsley Gunatillake with items such as a hand-knotted rug. This mix of significant art and comfortable, functional design is what creates a home that truly breathes. Our process is rooted in MEP planning, structural layout, and, most importantly, listening to how you actually live.
