Transform your urban terrace into a green retreat. I handle everything from structural waterproofing and drainage to selecting plants that thrive in Delhi rooftop conditions.

A rooftop garden design featuring a combination of artificial turf for a green lawn effect and a dedicated patio area. The space is lined with potted plants and includes a custom wooden bench with integrated planters.

A creative wall treatment for a terrace in Yojna Vihar, Delhi. I installed circular frames filled with artificial greenery on a bright yellow wall, adding a unique artistic element to the rooftop space.

This rooftop design uses a clean, modern aesthetic. I installed artificial turf alongside a light-colored wood-look deck and arranged a series of ficus trees in minimalist white planters on a raised platform.

A minimalist rooftop garden in GK1 featuring a clean patch of artificial lawn next to a wooden deck. A long, low-profile wooden bench is integrated into the design, providing simple and functional seating.

A row of neatly trimmed topiary trees in grey planters lines this rooftop space. The design combines a pristine artificial lawn with a light-colored tile patio area, creating a clean and organized look.

A set of four matching plumeria trees in modern white planters, placed on raised black granite platforms. This arrangement adds a touch of symmetry and elegance to the rooftop garden.

This terrace in GK1 uses layered planting to create depth. I combined rows of ficus trees, flowering bougainvillea, and low-lying plants with decorative pebbles and artificial turf for a rich, textured look.

A simple and effective rooftop garden setup in Ashok Vihar. I used a mix of square planters in cream and dark grey to house various small trees and shrubs against a stone-clad wall.

A vibrant rooftop design featuring a bold red wall as a backdrop. I lined the perimeter with ficus trees in grey planters and added a bed of blooming bougainvillea for a splash of color.

A beautiful plumeria tree serves as the centerpiece for this built-in concrete planter on a Gurugram rooftop. The surrounding greenery adds texture and complements the tree's sculptural form.

About Terrace & Rooftop Gardens

A successful terrace garden is built on a strong technical foundation, not just aesthetics. Before laying any artificial turf or placing planters, I prioritize drainage and slope correction to ensure your roof stays free of water logging and seepage, which is the most common issue in rooftop installations.

Your rooftop is a high-value space that requires a different approach than ground-level landscaping. Since 1992, I have focused on lightweight, durable designs that add value without compromising the structure of your building.

My Approach to Terrace Gardens

  • Base Layer Integrity: We begin with necessary drainage mats and slope checks. Water management is critical; without it, even the most beautiful garden will eventually cause structural headaches.
  • Weight Management: We select materials—from lightweight composite planters to specific artificial turf grades—that provide a lush feel without placing unnecessary load on your roof slab.
  • Delhi-Proof Planting: I select plants that handle the local climate extremes. Whether it is hardy Ficus for privacy screens, Bougainvillea for seasonal color, or specimen trees like Plumeria for a focal point, the plants are chosen for survival and ease of maintenance.
  • Hardscaping & Details: A finished look comes from clean edges. I install wood-look tiles, stone paths, or river pebble borders to create zones for seating and walking.

I have transformed countless rooftops across GK1, Ashok Vihar, and Yojna Vihar. Every project I take on starts with an assessment of the site’s sun exposure and structural capacity, ensuring the garden you get is one that thrives year after year.
