Permanent Terrace and External Waterproofing Solutions
Tired of society fixes that only last until the next monsoon? I identify the real source of your terrace or external wall leaks and seal them for good using industry-trusted chemicals.
This video shows my team tackling a challenging terrace leakage problem on the seventh floor of a building in Kalyan West. You can see our complete process, from identifying the source of the leak to cutting grooves, filling cracks with premium chemicals like Dr. Fixit and Sunanda, and applying fiber mesh for a permanent solution. We take all safety precautions, especially for high-rise external work, to ensure the job is done right and your home is protected.
About Terrace & External Waterproofing
When your society's temporary fixes fail, I find the real source of the leak, cut V-grooves into the cracks for deep chemical penetration, and seal them with high-strength compounds like Dr. Fixit or Sunanda. Whether it is a terrace crack or high-rise external wall dampness, my focus is on a long-term solution that survives the Mumbai rains, not just a quick surface patch.
Why Standard Repairs Fail
Many homes suffer from recurring leaks because the repair work only covers the surface. Paint hides the problem, but it does not fix the structural damage. If you have active leakage in your hall balcony or ceiling, it is often due to water seeping through cracks in the terrace slab or external walls. My process is different because I start by locating the actual point of entry, not where the water drips inside.
My Waterproofing Process
I don't believe in shortcuts. For high-rise buildings, I use a rope access system to safely inspect and treat external walls without needing expensive scaffolding. Here is what I do:
- Mechanical Cleaning: Using wire brushes to remove moss, algae, and loose, crumbling plaster.
- V-Grooving: We cut open the cracks (V-grooving) so that the chemical fillers can penetrate deep into the structure.
- Reinforcement: Where structural joints or beam-column junctions are weak, I add fiber mesh to bridge the gap and add strength.
- Chemical Treatment: We apply multiple layers of high-grade waterproofing chemicals followed by a proper slope correction to ensure water flows into the drain rather than pooling on your roof.
A Permanent Fix
When I work on your home, I treat it like my own. I perform a water retention ponding test for 24 to 48 hours to ensure zero leakage before I declare the job finished. If you are tired of wet walls and damaged paint every year, let us get to the root of the problem.
