Stop fearing the bowler. Whether you are facing high-speed pace or tricky spin, you need a plan, not just luck. Here is how we break down the bowler's release point, adapt to the bounce, and dominate the crease.

Nine out of ten batsmen still fear the short ball. This video shows you three drills to conquer that fear, focusing on adaptation, quick backfoot weight transfer, and facing high-speed throw-downs.

Don't be one of the nine out of ten batsmen who are scared of the short ball. We use specific drills to improve your reaction time and teach you how to transfer your weight to the backfoot quickly.

You can't play the swinging new ball if you commit to the shot too early and don't watch it from the hand. The key is to play late and connect with the ball under your head.

Still struggling against spin? This video gives you three drills to solve the problem: practice in low light to improve focus, always watch the bowler's hand, and bat on different surfaces.

If you can't play spin, you are missing out on runs. Here are three drills to fix your game against spinners, including low-light practice and batting on various surfaces like turf and astroturf.

These drills will solve your problems against spin bowling. We focus on watching the hand, practicing in low light to sharpen focus, and adapting to different types of turning tracks.

To score runs against spinners, you must first learn to read the ball from the hand. We also use cone drills to practice finding gaps and rotating the strike with soft hands.

When a team wants to stop runs, they bring on a spinner. I teach you how to counter this by watching the bowler's hand, using your feet, and practicing strike rotation to keep the scoreboard moving.

Facing a left-arm bowler can be difficult because of the angle. The solution is to adjust your stance and head alignment to match the bowler's angle of delivery. This video explains how.

About Conquering Bowlers: Pace, Swing & Spin

Most batsmen get out because they commit to the shot before the ball even leaves the bowler's hand. At our academy, we do not just tell you to watch the ball, we force it. In our sessions, we simulate scenarios that strip away your reliance on instinct, forcing you to track the wrist position the moment the bowler loads up. If you are not picking the ball early, you have already lost the battle before the ball reaches you.

Facing a 130kmph delivery or a crafty spinner requires more than just talent; it requires specific, repeatable technical habits.

Reading the Bowler's Hand

You cannot play the ball if you don't watch it from the hand. Whether it is a leg-spinner’s googly or a fast bowler’s seam position, the clues are in the wrist. We use reaction-time drills that force you to focus entirely on the release point. Ignore the crowds or the stadium lights. If you miss the release, you miss the shot.

Short Ball Adaptation

Nine out of ten batsmen fear the short ball because they do not adapt. If your feet are stuck, you are out. We practice specific backfoot weight transfer drills to ensure you get your body behind the line of the ball early. It is not about how hard you hit; it is about how quickly you can adjust your weight to control the bounce.

Why Surfaces Matter

Training on the same cement surface every day kills your game. We rotate training surfaces—from turf to matting—because every surface changes how the ball behaves. A spinner’s trajectory on grass is completely different from a flat cement track. If you want to score, you must be comfortable playing on all of them, regardless of the conditions.

Mental Resilience

Technique is useless under match pressure. We create 'consequence' scenarios where getting out costs you. We build your mental toughness by putting you in uncomfortable situations repeatedly. Stop watching cricket videos on your phone and start training. It is time to put in the hard work.
