Jimmy Felix: High-Energy Rockstar Stage Presence
For me, a live show is not just about the music, it is about bringing energy to the stage. When I perform, the outfit and the vibe are just as important as the setlist.
My style is so loud, it doesn’t need autotune. This video shows off one of my favorite stage outfits, a colorful shirt that’s as vibrant as my music.
Rocking this stunning blue sequined jacket after the Maruti Suzuki show. I believe the outfit is a crucial part of the performance.
This is the closest I could get to dressing like Santa for a Christmas-themed sangeet in Vadodara. The red hot suit definitely brought the festive fire.
This Dolce & Gabbana jacket is one of my favorites from my closet. I'm a sucker for colors, and this piece is a work of art.
The moment I step on stage, it's all about passion and energy. This video captures some of my signature looks and the fire I bring to every performance.
The calm before the musical storm. A quiet moment of reflection before hitting the stage, dressed and ready to rock.
About last night. A classic all-black velvet suit for a sophisticated yet edgy look at a corporate gala.
About this collection
My stage style is not about vanity, it is about the show. Whether I am wearing a sequined jacket for a corporate gala or a bright neon shirt for an outdoor festival, every piece is chosen to help me move, dance, and connect with the crowd. It is a part of the performance that gets everyone pumped up before I even hit the first note.
When I started in the industry, I realized quickly that music is a visual experience. You want to see the person who is making the sound. That is why I pay attention to my stage wardrobe. It is part of the Nautanki Company experience. If we are performing at an awards night in Mumbai or a sangeet in Vadodara, I match the energy of the event to my outfit. A sleek, black velvet suit works for a formal leadership meet, while a vibrant, flashy jacket is needed when we are doing high-energy Bollywood dance hits.
It is not just about what I wear, it is about how I move. I do not stay behind the mic stand. I am out there on the floor, on a chair, sometimes even on a Segway. My clothes have to be comfortable enough to move in but bold enough to be seen from the back row. When the audience sees me giving it my all, in an outfit that screams party, it breaks the ice. That is when the shyest person in the room decides to join the dance floor. Woh dekh ke dil baag baag ho jaata hai, my heart feels pure joy.
