About Our Stage is Your Stage: Open Mic & Platform Events
If you plan to join an Open Mic Saturday, remember that we operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sign-ups begin strictly at 5:00 pm at our Lumbini space, and with only 10 performance slots available, it is best to arrive early to secure your chance to perform. We provide the mic, the speaker, and a general light, so bring any backing tracks or instruments you need to handle your set.
Our Lumbini space serves as an open environment where stand-up comics, poets, and musicians test new material. We keep the setup simple—just you, a microphone, and the audience. These Saturday sessions are raw and unscripted, providing a space for performers to engage with a live crowd without the pressure of a full-scale production.
For Platform Performances, we offer a venue for trained artists to showcase their craft. Whether it is Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or vocal recitals, we provide a dedicated space for classical and contemporary artists to share their art. Located in Whitefield, our facility is designed for acoustic clarity. For these community events, we prioritize accessibility and artistic growth, which is why these events are often free or low-cost.
We encourage performers to focus on the connection with the audience rather than technical complexity. Whether you are a first-timer testing a comedy set or a trained musician presenting a new composition, our stage is open to you.
