I do not just point and shoot. Whether I am tracking leopards in Jhalana or catching the light on birds in Singapore, I am chasing the moments that matter. This collection showcases the encounters and creative techniques I am proudest of.

This is Simba, a leopard from Jhalana Leopard Reserve in India. We raced across the park to find him, and just as our jeep stalled, he emerged from the bush and walked right towards us. His striking blue eyes are real, and this encounter remains one of my absolute favorites.

I captured this Eastern Grey Kangaroo in Lysterfield Park, Australia, just as the sun was setting. By positioning myself against the last light, I was able to create this dramatic rim-lit silhouette, highlighting the fine fur along its back and ears against the darkness.

This image is an in-camera double exposure created at Sultanpur National Park. I first captured the silhouette of a distant flock of cormorants against the sky, then layered it with a second shot of the golden bokeh reflections on the water's surface to create this dreamy, abstract scene.

A high-key portrait of a female Common Kingfisher in Singapore. I used the bright, overcast sky as a natural white background to isolate her vibrant colors and the delicate details of the flower she perched on, creating a clean, minimalist wildlife photograph.

An abstract shot focusing on the rosette patterns of an Indian Leopard's coat in Jhalana. The animal was so close I could hear it breathe, which made using a 600mm lens a challenge, but it allowed me to capture the pure art and texture of its fur.

I followed the sounds of loud squeaks at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and found a family of otters. This one had just caught a fish for lunch. The high-key lighting of the water isolates the action, freezing a raw, candid moment of survival in the wild.

To get this shot of a Crested Pigeon in Melbourne, I had to find a small window through a bush to get a clean background. I waited for the golden hour light to perfectly backlight the bird, creating a warm silhouette that highlights its unique crest.

A low-key portrait of a critically endangered Straw-Headed Bulbul in Singapore. The dark rainforest provided the perfect natural studio, allowing me to use the shadows to make the bird's features and detailed plumage stand out dramatically.

About Featured

Every frame here comes from hours of waiting, not just luck. If you look closely at the leopard rosettes or the rim-lit kangaroos, you can see the technical choices I made with my gear to isolate the subject from the chaos. I prefer clean, deliberate compositions that highlight the character of the animal over snapping a quick picture.
