About Fine Art Nature Photography
Why I Do This
Out in the wild, camera in hand, I’m chasing stories more than just animals. For me, nature photography is as much about patience and getting muddy as it is about that one, unpredictable moment. Doesn’t matter if I’m waiting hours for a leopard or catching pigeons just doing their thing - it’s always about the next surprise.
My Style & Tricks
- I take common birds and animals just as seriously as the big cats. Pigeons, peacocks, kites, you name it - every subject’s got something unique if you look close.
- Sometimes I go bold with double exposure wildlife images: like blending a predator and prey in one shot, or layering textures to create a dreamy, abstract mood.
- I love playing with light. High-key shots against a white sky for that minimal wildlife photography vibe, or low-key drama where the animal pops out of the shadows using only natural light.
- Silhouettes and rim lighting are my jam. The sun does half the work, I just wait for the right angle to make those natural light animal portraits really pop.
- When I’m feeling artsy, I go all in for abstract nature art prints - patterns on fur, out-of-focus bokeh, or motion blur for that almost painting-like look.
Where I Shoot
You’ll find me anywhere from Indian jungles to Aussie bushland. Sometimes I get the shot, sometimes I just get a story. Patience is pretty much the main skill here.

My Story
Hey, Ishaan here. I’m that guy who’ll chase leopards through dusty trails one day, then mess around with fairy lights and spiders on my Gurgaon terrace the next. Sometimes the best shot is a lucky encounter, sometimes it’s just waiting for hours for a bird that never shows. I love the thrill, but I also dig finding beauty in the usual stuff, like pigeons. For me, photography’s about patience, a bit of luck, and always being ready for a surprise.
My Work
Wildlife, Birds & Macro Photography - I capture everything from leopards in the wild to lapwings and insects, wherever I find them.
Creative Techniques & Experiments - Double exposure bird photos, bokeh insect shots, and playing with light to make images stand out.
The Story Behind Every Shot - Each photo has a story - patience, chance, or a wild chase. I love sharing how it happened.
My Gear - Mostly shoot on Canon 80D with Sigma 150-600mm, lets me get close to wildlife and tiny creatures.
