Our Meticulous UPVC Installation Process

My installation process is designed to eliminate common issues like window sagging, jammed tracks, or water leaks during monsoon season. When I take on a project, whether it is a single window or a full home balcony enclosure, I follow a strict technical protocol.

The Installation Workflow

• Laser Measurement: Everything starts here. I take precise laser measurements of the aperture. Standard tape measures often miss the subtle unevenness of old walls, which is why I check plumb lines before ordering any materials.
• Frame Alignment: During the install, I use high-grade anchor fasteners drilled directly into the masonry. I do not rely on just foam or silicone to hold the frame in place. The frame must be perfectly level to ensure smooth operation of sliding sashes.
• Galvanized Iron Reinforcement: Every UPVC profile I install contains internal galvanized iron steel reinforcement. This is non-negotiable, as it prevents the UPVC from bowing under heat or wind pressure.
• Airtight Sealing: This is where most installers cut corners. I use heavy-duty, weather-resistant silicone sealant at all exterior junctions. This acts as a barrier against dust, noise, and rainwater.

Why the Process Matters

We see a lot of problems in Bengaluru homes caused by poor installation—windows that rattle, doors that drag on the floor, and gaps that let in moisture. My focus is on the long-term structural integrity of the installation. Using mid-tier Platinum profiles or equivalent, I ensure the framing is UV-resistant and the hardware—from nylon rollers to multi-point locks—is lubricated and tested before I leave the site.

Before I wrap up any job, I perform a final operational check. I test the smoothness of the sliding mechanism, ensure the lock engages cleanly without force, and inspect the outer sealing bead. If it is not right, I fix it on the spot. My goal is to provide a setup that does not need a follow-up call from you.
