About this collection
Capturing a Sangeet or a cocktail night is very different from formal ritual photography. The light changes constantly, people move fast, and the energy is wild. My job is to blend into the background with a fast lens and capture that exact second when the laughter peaks or the dance floor explodes, without ever asking you to stop and pose.
When the music gets loud and the room gets dark, that is when the real party begins. I use high-speed, full-frame mirrorless cameras to ensure every candid moment stays sharp, even in low-light banquet halls or outdoor venues.
You will not find me setting up rigid poses on the dance floor. Instead, I focus on the story of the night. I look for the friend whispering a joke, the groom’s spontaneous moves, or the bride’s genuine joy during a performance. Whether it is a grand entrance with smoke bombs or a quiet, stolen glance at the cocktail bar, I am there to document it all.
For these high-energy events, I work with a dedicated team to ensure we capture both the motion and the music. We use gimbals for smooth, cinematic shots so that when you watch your highlight film years later, you feel like you are back in the middle of the crowd.
