About TV & Media Units
When planning your TV unit, don't just think about the look—think about the storage and cable management. Most people ask for sleek, floating consoles, but if you have a lot of media devices or kids at home, I always suggest adding deep, push-to-open cabinets. It hides the wires and the mess while keeping that clean, designer vibe you see in my gallery.
A TV unit is more than a wall for your screen. Over the last 10 years working across Ghaziabad and Noida, I have learned that the best designs balance aesthetics with daily utility. I don't believe in ready-made, off-the-shelf units. Every project I take on is built from scratch using high-quality commercial plywood and finished with materials that last.
My Approach to Media Walls
I focus on three key elements to get the design right:
- Texture & Finish: I love working with fluted panels, PVC marble sheets, and laminates. These create depth and break the monotony of a flat wall.
- Lighting: Lighting is what separates a standard unit from a designer one. I integrate aluminium LED profiles and backlighting directly into the paneling to create that cozy, warm glow around the TV area.
- Storage: Whether it is open display shelves for your decor or closed push-to-open cabinets for your set-top box and routers, I customize the layout to fit exactly what you need.
The Process
Good work takes time. I start by measuring your space to ensure the unit aligns perfectly with your room size. We then build the framework, ensuring electrical points for your TV, soundbar, and console are hidden behind the panels. I personally supervise the finish—sanding, edge binding, and the final paint or laminate application.
