About this collection
When I officiate or consult for leagues like the INBL, I’m not just watching games; I’m studying the speed, the referee calls, and the intensity. This keeps my own coaching sharp. Whether you are training with us at Dwarka or just starting, you aren’t learning from textbooks. You’re getting drills and strategies derived from the exact same courts where professional athletes compete, keeping your training relevant to how the game is played today.
My involvement with professional basketball, particularly as a Table Official for the Indian National Basketball League (INBL), is the backbone of our academy’s technical standard. When you watch a pro game, you see the game at 100% intensity. As officials, we have to track every second, every foul, and every rotation with absolute precision. That level of focus is what I bring to our sessions at Bal Bharati School, Dwarka.
When we worked on commercial sets with actors like Rannvijay Singha, Sikandar Kher, and Sheeba Chaddha for Sunfeast, it wasn't just about the cameras. It was about presenting the sport authentically. Being in those rooms—whether it's a film set or the Thyagaraj Sports Complex—gives me a unique perspective on the gap between casual play and professional performance.
I see how the pros warm up. I see how they handle pressure. I see where amateurs go wrong. My job isn't to make you a star overnight; it’s to translate that professional awareness into drills you can actually use. We don't just teach you to shoot; we teach you to understand the flow, the timing, and the mental discipline required at the competitive level. I’m Ishwar Bhati. I started IB Sports Academy because I believe basketball has the power to change trajectories, from underprivileged kids to working professionals. If I’m not coaching, I’m probably on the court officiating a league match or scouting new talent.
