About this collection
Picking a beautiful flower is only the first step; getting it to bloom consistently in your specific space is the real challenge. We don't just sell plants in standard nursery sleeves. Every flowering plant we provide is already potted in our custom blend of red soil, cocopeat, and vermicompost—the exact mix we use in our Kodigehalli nursery—to ensure your new plants adjust to your home environment without the transplant shock common with store-bought varieties.
Choosing the Right Bloom for Your Space
Not every flower thrives in every corner. If you have a sunny balcony that gets six hours of direct light, varieties like Hibiscus and Marigold will love it. If you are dealing with partial shade or a window ledge, we often suggest looking at our foliage-heavy options that still offer beautiful, delicate flowers.
Seeds vs. Mature Plants
We get asked often: should I start from seed or buy a plant? It comes down to patience.
- Sowing Seeds: Perfect if you want to be involved in the growth process from day one. We stock seeds for Zinnia, Morning Glory, and Hibiscus that perform exceptionally well during Bangalore summers.
- Mature Plants: If you want instant impact, we recommend our semi-mature specimens. We have everything from hardy climbers to delicate potted flowers that are already strong enough to handle pot life.
The Hygrinz Soil Difference
Most 'store-bought' plants suffer because they are kept in low-quality soil that dries out too fast or compacts too hard. We prep all our flowering plants with a specific mix of perlite, vermicompost, and organic nutrients. This doesn't just feed the plant immediately; it creates a healthy root system that makes future maintenance much easier for you. If you have a plant at home that has stopped flowering, it is usually because the soil nutrients have depleted. You might just need a fresh bag of our potting mix rather than a new plant entirely.
Hygrinz
We started Hygrinz to prove that you don't need a massive backyard to enjoy a garden. We help you pick the right plants that actually fit your space, and we make sure you have the right potting mix and advice to keep them alive and flowering.
