Most balcony plants in Bangalore struggle because of generic nursery soil. I use a custom mix of red soil, cocopeat, and vermicompost specifically formulated for our local weather. This ensures your plants get proper drainage so they avoid root rot during the monsoons and do not dry out during our intense summer months.
Gardening in a city apartment does not have to be complicated. Whether you have a tiny grill balcony or a spacious terrace, I help you select the right plants that actually thrive in our environment.
For balconies, I recommend starting with hardy outdoor plants like Areca Palms for privacy and structure, or creepers like the Madhumalti (Rangoon Creeper) for fragrance. If you want color, I have flowering varieties like roses and dahlias that are already acclimated to Bangalore conditions. You do not need a massive setup to start.
