About Lush Lawns & Hardscaping
A great lawn in Bangalore is more than just rolling out some grass. The real secret is the prep work. We clear out old debris, till the existing red soil, and mix in organic manure to ensure your new grass actually takes root and thrives in our climate. It is about building a healthy foundation that lasts, rather than just laying sod that fades after a few months.
When we approach a lawn installation, we look at the specific conditions of your plot. We primarily use Mexican grass for its shade tolerance and durability, which makes it a perfect fit for Bangalore homes. Our installation includes tilling the ground to a depth of 4 to 6 inches, mixing it with nutrient-rich compost, and rolling the sod to ensure there are no air pockets for roots.
Hardscaping is where we bring structure to your garden. A beautiful lawn needs a clean border to keep it from looking messy. We use red clay bricks or concrete kerb stones to create crisp edges that separate your grass from your flower beds. For walkways, we work with materials like rough granite or sandstone slabs. These are installed on a mortar bed to prevent sinking and can be spaced as stepping stones or solid paving, depending on how you plan to walk through the space. We also fill the joints between stones with either decorative river pebbles or more grass, allowing the path to blend seamlessly into your landscape design. Whether you are dealing with a small backyard or a larger commercial plot, our goal is to create a space that requires less maintenance and gives you more room to breathe.
