About Indian Festive & Wedding Wear
What Matters To Me
I design clothes that let you breathe. No squeezing or stiff fits, just easy, feminine, and fluid styles that work whether you’re at a chilled Diwali dinner or tearing up the dance floor at a sangeet. Festive wear should feel special, but never heavy or hard to move in.
My Festive Edit
- I love mixing old-school crafts with new shapes. So you’ll find handcrafted silk kurta sets and chanderis, from classic cuts to modern drapes, usually with comfy Turkish pants.
- Got a thing for lehengas? My lightweight brocade lehenga skirts are luxe but won’t weigh you down. I pair them with simple silk shirts for that modern ethnic look.
- Our Wasabi jackets are kind of famous. These versatile festive jackets work with a silk suit, a black dress, even jeans. One piece, so many ways.
- Breezy dresses and kaftans are my go-to for when you want to look festive but keep it super easy. Flowy, draped, with little details like neck embroidery.
Details That Matter
Art is a big inspiration for me. Sometimes I’ll spot a painting and turn it into a print for a new piece. We work with karigars (artisans), so you’ll see Banarasi weaves, Zari, and Kantha embroidery - all done by hand. Most of my outfits have pockets because, let’s be honest, pockets are the best.
Everything can be customised for the perfect fit. If you care about comfort, craft, and staying true to yourself, this collection is for you.

My Story
Hey, we’re Wasabi. Started out of a stubborn love for clothes that actually let you breathe. Fashion’s always tried to boss us around, telling us to shrink or squeeze into some idea of perfect. Nope – not our thing. We get inspired by art, sometimes a painting, sometimes just a mood, and turn it into prints you won’t find anywhere else. Our karigars (artisans) pour their skill into every piece, so it’s never just a dress – it’s a bit of someone’s story. Some days are wild, some days are magic, but every day’s about making you feel like you own the room.
