Meet our home chef Poonam Agarwal. She specializes in authentic Marwadi and Haryanvi dishes, using only iron and cast-iron cookware, no MSG, and natural sweeteners like jaggery. It's this commitment to quality that makes our food truly special.

About Our Home Chefs: The Heart of Homeal
Every Homeal chef you see here is more than just a home cook; they are licensed, audited professionals. We don't just trust them with a spoon; we verify their kitchen hygiene and cooking methods. Whether it’s Poonam’s specific cast-iron cookware usage or a new chef joining our Bangalore community, each one is handpicked to ensure your food is safe, healthy, and genuinely authentic.
We started Homeal because we missed 'ghar ka khana' and noticed so many incredible women in our city with magic in their hands but no platform to share it. This isn't a factory kitchen or a typical cloud kitchen setup. When you subscribe, you are directly supporting a home chef—often a homemaker finding financial independence—and connecting with a story, not just an order.
From our 'Samvardhan' community meetups in JP Nagar to the training sessions led by our Regional Head Chef, Bhavana Sejpal, we invest deeply in our people. We know that the best ingredients are love, tradition, and consistency. That’s why we support our chefs with a central hub for fresh staples like rotis and rice, while they focus on the heart of the meal: the sabji and gravy.
