About Timeless Portraits: The Bride & Groom
For these portraits, I move away from stiff, generic poses. I use off-camera flash to add depth and drama, ensuring you look natural even under challenging lighting conditions at your venue. We usually dedicate 30 to 45 minutes to these sessions, where I guide you into positions that highlight your outfit and personality, making sure the process feels relaxed rather than like a chore.
Finding Your Best Light
Whether we are shooting in a hotel room in Indiranagar or a sprawling venue in Mangalore, my goal is to strip away the distractions of the wedding day. Portraits are the one time you get to pause, breathe, and just be with each other.
My Technical Approach
- Lighting: I don't just rely on ambient venue lighting. I use portable off-camera flash setups to create editorial-style bridal photography that feels clean, sharp, and timeless.
- Posing: If you are nervous about being in front of a camera, do not worry. I prefer giving gentle prompts rather than rigid instructions. We might start with standard formals, but I will quickly pivot to capturing the way you look at each other when you think no one is watching.
- The Groom's Perspective: Often, groom portraits get less attention. I make sure to spend equal time capturing the details that matter to you—from the watch you chose to the way you carry your sherwani.
Planning for Your Day
To get these results, I recommend setting aside a dedicated window during your event timeline. If you are planning a multi-day celebration, we can schedule these portraits during a quiet sunset hour rather than rushing them between rituals. This helps me deliver the high-resolution images you see in this gallery without adding stress to your schedule.
