About Pre-Wedding & Engagement Stories
Most couples worry about being stiff in front of a camera, but my pre-wedding sessions are the opposite of a rigid photoshoot. We go for a walk, grab a coffee, or just hang out at your favourite spot in Bengaluru while I document the real chemistry between you. By the time your main wedding day arrives, you will be so used to my lens that you will completely forget I am even there, letting the true, unscripted emotions shine through.
Whether you are planning an intimate Nischithartha or a creative pre-wedding portrait session, the goal remains the same: capturing the story behind the smiles.
The Engagement (Nischithartha) Process
These ceremonies are often about family, traditions, and the first steps into a new life. I focus on the candid interactions between you and your families, ensuring the sacred rituals are documented while keeping an eye out for those unplanned, emotional reactions. From traditional South Indian rituals in Bengaluru to intimate home ceremonies, I keep the photography discreet so you can be present with your guests.
Pre-Wedding Portrait Philosophy
These shoots are my chance to get to know you as a couple before the chaos of the wedding day. We do not do stiff, outdated poses here. Instead, we use your favourite locations, whether it is a quiet park or a moody studio setup, to reflect your actual vibe.
My Technical Approach
I rely heavily on natural light whenever possible, but I also love using off-camera flash to create dramatic, cinematic portraits. You will often see a mix of high-contrast black and white images in my work, as I find they strip away distractions and focus entirely on the connection between two people.
If you have a specific venue in mind in Mangaluru or Bengaluru, or if you are planning a destination shoot, let me know. I am always happy to travel to find the right backdrop for your story.
