We focus on building strong foundations for young players in Navi Mumbai, combining technical hockey drills with a supportive environment where kids actually enjoy the game.
Our toddlers learn the basics of hockey through fun, competitive drills. This video shows them practicing their dribbling and shooting, building teamwork and a love for the game from an early age.
Even birthdays are a team event! Watch our toddlers celebrate a teammate's birthday with "birthday bums," a fun tradition that shows the playful and friendly spirit of our youngest group.

About The Next Generation: Junior & Toddler Hockey
We don't just teach kids how to hold a stick. Our sessions are built to get them comfortable on the turf, mixing technical ball control and dribbling drills with the kind of high-energy fun that makes them want to return. It is competitive sport taught in a way that respects their age, keeping them engaged while building discipline.
Grassroots Hockey Development
Our program is designed for children who are just starting out. We break down complex movements into simple, repeatable drills that help kids develop motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness. By focusing on the basics early, we ensure that as players grow into the U10 and U16 competitive squads, they already have a solid foundation.
Why We Do It Differently
Training isn't just about repetition. Our coaches are ex-national players and former Sports Authority of India scholars who know how to teach effectively. You will see us using cones, agility poles, and game-strategy sessions that move beyond simple drills. We emphasize 'man-to-man' marking and space creation even at a junior level, ensuring players understand the tactical side of the game early on.
The 'Family' Aspect
We believe that a child who enjoys the environment will be a child who stays with the sport. Whether it is celebrating a birthday after practice with cake, or encouraging teammates during Friendship Day exercises, we keep the mood light off the turf. This bond helps kids overcome the frustration of tough drills and builds the team spirit required for competitive matches.
Locations and Logistics
We conduct training across Navi Mumbai, including St. Joseph's High School in Kalamboli, Decathlon in Belapur, and grounds in Ghansoli and Sanpada. Sessions run 3-4 times weekly, with each class lasting 90-120 minutes. This includes warm-ups, skill training, and cooling down to prevent injury. Our goal is to make hockey accessible, challenging, and fun.
