Drills are the foundation of all great dancers. I make sure our training sessions are engaging and fun, so learning tough techniques feels like a treat, not a task. Here, we're working on popping drills and body control.

About this collection
In our foundation classes, we don't just show you a routine and expect you to mirror it. We spend the first half of every session on intensive drilling. Whether we are breaking down the mechanics of a popping hit or the footwork patterns in hip-hop, we repeat these movements until they become muscle memory. It feels like tough work, but it is the only way to ensure your technique holds up when you are in a cypher or on stage.
Why Foundation Matters

Since 2004, we have seen countless students try to skip the basics to get to the 'fancy' moves, only to struggle later. Our methodology is simple: build the foundation, and the style will follow.
The Anatomy of Our Training
We structure our training to cover more than just footwork. You will learn:
- Technique & Isolation: How to control specific body parts for styles like popping and locking.
- Rhythm & Musicality: Learning to listen to the music, not just hearing the beat. We use metronome training to develop your timing.
- Drills & Repetition: The core of our program. We drill toprock, footwork, and freezes until you do not have to think about them anymore.
- Conditioning: Street dance is athletic. We integrate fitness and injury prevention because a dancer who cannot move safely is not a dancer who can sustain their craft.
