Behind the Scenes of Our Mehendi Process

When you book us for a large event, it is rarely just me. I bring my besties Taiba and Nilofar Didi along to ensure everything runs smoothly. We work as a team because it allows us to handle larger groups without making you or your guests wait. My role is to oversee the details, while the team helps with the setup and application, allowing you to relax while the henna magic happens.

A lot happens before the first line of henna touches your skin. We start with the preparation of our organic henna paste, using specific essential oils to ensure it is safe and gives that deep, dark stain. When we arrive at your venue, whether it is in Mumbai or elsewhere in India, we bring our own setup to ensure hygiene and comfort.

My process involves a lot of back and forth, especially with bridal designs. I love using a lemon-sugar sealant once the mehendi dries because it locks in the color for a richer result. My team and I often discuss the layout while we work, ensuring the floral trails and jaali net patterns are consistent. This behind-the-scenes coordination is how we maintain speed without sacrificing the precision of the design.

If you have a large mehendi party, having my team there means we can manage multiple guests simultaneously. We are not just there to apply henna; we are there to keep the energy high and the experience fun.
