About The Rich Henna Stain
The trick to getting that deep, dark maroon stain isn't just about the design—it's about the paste. I mix my own henna using 100% organic ingredients like clove and eucalyptus oils, avoiding all chemical-laden cones that promise instant black results but harm your skin. My henna starts as a light orange and matures into a deep, rich color over 48 hours. If you want that classic bridal look that actually lasts, this is the path to take.
Why Natural Henna Stains Differ
There is a lot of talk about 'black' or 'instant' henna. Let me be clear—those usually contain chemicals that can cause reactions. I strictly avoid those. My natural henna paste relies on high-quality lawsone dye content. It needs time to release its color on your skin. When I come to your home in Mumbai to apply your mehndi, we are committing to a process.
The 48-Hour Aftercare
The stain doesn't reach its peak the moment I leave. After I apply the design, you need to keep the paste on for at least 6 to 8 hours. Once you scrape it off, keep your hands away from water and harsh soaps for the next 24 hours. I usually apply a lemon-sugar sealant to keep the design intact. If you keep your hands warm, the color will develop beautifully.
