Behind the Scenes: My Wedding Photography Process
Getting the perfect shot involves more than just showing up with a camera. Here is how my team works to document the chaos and quiet moments of your wedding day.
A look at my team in action. This video shows us working together with our equipment to light a grand reception venue, ensuring every shot is perfect.
This reel shows the variety of scenes we cover, but the audio gives a true peek behind the curtain. Hearing me say "Matte matte, eradane take" (Again and again, second take) shows my dedication to capturing the perfect moment for you.
About Behind The Scenes
You might hear me say 'Matte matte, eradane take' (again and again, second take) during your shoot. It is not because I am a perfectionist for the sake of it, but because I know that split-second look or genuine smile often happens the second time you try something. My team works in the background to handle the lighting and angles so you can focus on the event, not the camera.
Photography is often presented as a seamless, magical experience, but the reality involves a fair amount of movement, gear management, and quick coordination. When you see a beautiful cinematic shot in our gallery, it is usually the result of a team of four—a traditional photographer, a candid photographer, and two videographers—constantly adjusting for the best light and angle in real time.
My Approach to Coverage
My team and I do not want to be the center of attention. We understand the flow of South Indian wedding rituals, from the energy of the Haldi to the subtle moments during the Saptapadi. By staying unobtrusive, we allow you to forget we are even there. We bring professional lighting setups for receptions and low-light venues, ensuring that your outfit details and expressions stay crisp even in dark settings.
Why the Extra Takes Matter
When we do couple portraits, I do not believe in forcing unnatural poses. If I ask for a second take, it is usually because the light shifted or the moment felt slightly staged. A simple change in angle or a quick reset allows you to relax, which is when the real emotion comes through. We use that extra time to ensure we have the drone shots and candid captures that make up your final cinematic highlight film.
What to Expect
We provide 2000+ raw high-resolution images after a one-day wedding, but our focus remains on quality. Whether it is a pre-wedding shoot with costume changes or a two-day wedding saga, we treat every session as a film production. We aim to have your vertical teaser reel ready within one week so you can share those memories immediately.
