About Unforgettable Entrances
Planning an entrance is not just about the floral arch, it is about the path leading to it. Whether we use a mirrored aisle to catch the light or a structured tunnel with foliage and chandeliers, lighting is the critical factor. A poorly lit entrance makes a grand setup look flat, so I personally test the LED Par cans and cold pyro timing to ensure your entry is perfectly illuminated for photography without being distracting for your guests.
Making Your Entrance Work
When we plan an entrance, we look at the specific venue constraints in Noida or your chosen destination. If you are aiming for a bohemian or rustic vibe, I recommend pampas grass, dried palms, and soft drapes that work well in outdoor farmhouse settings. These materials are durable and capture the evening light beautifully.
For grand, luxury receptions, we go the other way. We use heavy structures like 40ft tunnels, crystal chandeliers, and cold pyro sparklers for the Varmala moment. The technical setup here is intense, involving trussing and power management for the special effects.
Key Considerations for Your Setup:
- Lighting Angles: Entrance photos are often the most shared. We place moving heads and wash lights to highlight the couple, not the background. This avoids the silhouettes you often see in amateur photography.
- Safety with SFX: If you want cold pyros or smoke effects, we always do a pre-run check with the venue management to ensure compliance with their safety rules.
- Flooring: A mirrored or carpeted walkway needs to be perfectly level. We account for this during the setup phase so no one trips during their big entrance.
Whether you are getting married in a resort in Rishikesh or a farmhouse in Noida, my team and I handle the logistics, from the trucking of the structures to the final floral assembly on the day of the wedding.
