From cinematic scores to modern ghazals, I bring the Punjab Gharana tradition to your project with clean, studio-ready percussion.

A glimpse of my tabla overdub work for the Amazon Prime series 'Bandish Bandits Season 2'. It was an honor to contribute to such a musically rich project, adapting classical rhythms for a modern cinematic score.

A truly blessed moment with the queen of melody, Asha Bhosle ji. Being in her presence is a lesson in itself, and I am grateful for the opportunity to witness her artistry up close during a recording session.

I was honored to be part of a large percussion ensemble for the song 'Mahakaal Mahakaali' from the film 'The Bhootnii'. This project required a powerful and layered rhythmic approach to match the song's intensity.

A solo tabla performance showcasing the intricate bols and patterns of a traditional composition. This is the foundation of my playing, where every stroke is practiced to achieve clarity and emotional expression.

With my Guru, Ustad Fazal Qureshi ji. Every lesson with him is a blessing that deepens my understanding of the Punjab Gharana. His guidance is the light that shapes my musical journey.

A promotional shot for 'Rishtey', a beautiful modern-day ghazal I had the pleasure of recording. Playing for ghazals requires a unique sensitivity to support the poetry and vocals, a process I deeply enjoy.

In my element during a live performance at the 'Guruvandan 2024' concert. There is a special energy in playing for a live audience, where the music connects everyone in the room.

About this collection

When you work with me, you get production-ready stems, not just raw audio. I record using a treated home setup, delivering high-resolution 24-bit WAV files within 48 hours, so your editing process moves forward without delay.

My approach to these projects—whether for Amazon Prime or independent albums—is based on a simple philosophy: serve the song. Having studied under Ustad Fazal Qureshi ji, my foundation is the Punjab Gharana, but I am comfortable shifting between teentaal, simple pop grooves, or atmospheric background score cues.

When we collaborate, I make sure the tabla sits exactly where you need it in the mix. For remote recordings, I handle the tuning to your specific track scale, so the percussion blends naturally with your other instruments. If you are recording in a studio here in Mumbai, I bring the energy of a live session to your venue, equipped with auxiliary percussion like shakers and ghungroos to add texture and depth to your sound.

I have been lucky to work with composers like Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur, and my goal is always the same, regardless of the project scale. Whether it is a solo tabla piece, a fusion experiment, or a background score, I focus on the 'sam' and the emotion of the music, ensuring every stroke adds value to your production.
