About Elegant Stages for Engagements & Receptions
When planning your engagement stage, the primary challenge is balancing the venue's existing floor plan with your specific vision. I focus on creating versatile setups that can fit compact banquet halls or wider outdoor spaces, ensuring the stage remains the central focal point without feeling cramped for your guests.
Every stage I design, whether it covers 16ft or 24ft, is about creating a space where you feel comfortable and celebrated. For engagement and reception stages, I typically use a mix of layered satin drapes or trussing backdrops combined with structural elements like circular rings or floral arches.
My approach to florals involves using a blend of fresh seasonal blooms like roses, orchids, and chrysanthemums mixed with high-quality silk florals to ensure volume and depth. This allows us to achieve a lush look that stays fresh throughout the event. Lighting is just as critical. I integrate LED Par cans to wash the backdrop in colors that match your theme, often adding fairy light curtains or Edison bulbs to create that soft, warm ambiance that looks great in photos.
