Traditional Home Puja & Haldi Setup (8x8ft)
Backdrop & Structure
- Dimensions: Standard 8ft (H) x 8ft (W) frame suitable for indoor halls or living rooms.
- Materials: Dual-tone pleated satin or georgette drapes in Yellow, Pink, Orange, or Green.
- Florals: Heavy Marigold (Genda) strings in vertical or crisscross patterns. Top border accented with Mango leaves and mixed seasonal flowers.
Props & Seating
- Traditional Decor: 2 Large Brass Urlis placed symmetrically in front, filled with water and floating petals.
- Seating: Floor rug with traditional mattress and 2 bolster pillows, or a basic 2-seater decorative bench.
Lighting & Entrance
- Illumination: 2 LED Par cans to wash the backdrop with warm light.
- Extras: Basic single-layer marigold garland border for the main entrance door (approx. 15ft). Red or Green synthetic carpet (10ft x 10ft).

About Ceremonial & Event Decoration
I love making every sambharama (celebration) feel special, whether it’s full-on traditional or totally modern. My job is to bring your ideas to life so you can just enjoy the day with your people.
What I Do
- Haldi ceremonies get a splash of marigold (genda phool) and green, with flower walls, colourful drapes, and brass urlis for that sacred, happy vibe. All about that traditional haldi decoration, but I can switch it up if you want.
- Naming and cradle ceremonies (thottilu shastra) are a big deal. The cradle’s the main hero, decked up with flowers and Indian motifs. Want it more stylish? I do sheer drapes, fairy lights, and custom name boards for a modern twist.
- Baby showers are where we go creative. Think pastel balloon arches, cute teddy themes, and personalized baby shower backdrops that make your Insta pop.
- Engagements and ring ceremonies get that romantic stage - floral arches, pampas, soft drapes, fairy lights, even throne-style seats. Modern engagement stage styling is my jam.
