Soft waves need more than just heat; they need the right prep to last through a humid Delhi afternoon or an eight-hour shoot. I prioritize a base of volume using professional products like Schwarzkopf and TIGI so your hair stays touchable without feeling crunchy or stiff by the end of the day.
My Approach to Open Hair Styling
Open hair is deceptive. It looks effortless, but achieving a style that stays bouncy and defined requires significant structural work. Whether I am styling a model for an AJIO campaign or a bride for her engagement, my process remains consistent.
The Prep and Durability
Great styling starts before the iron touches your hair. I begin with a thorough blow-dry to build a volume base, combined with the application of heat protectants to keep your hair healthy. For shoots that last all day, I use industrial-grade texturizing dusts and setting sprays to prevent the waves from falling flat, even under hot studio lights.
Styles I Create
- Hollywood Waves: These are my go-to for red-carpet looks and engagement parties. They are polished, side-swept, and require precise setting to maintain that glossy, uniform wave pattern.
