About Featured
When designing these looks, I prioritize structures that last through intense studio lighting and long shoot days. Whether I am crafting an architectural editorial style or setting soft waves, I ensure every detail, from the internal wire work to the precise product application, is tailored to your project requirements.
My approach to hair is grounded in the technical demands of fashion and media. Whether working with designers like Gaurav Gupta or styling for commercial campaigns, I treat hair as a structural element of the final image.
Editorial and Avant-Garde Focus
I specialize in pushing creative boundaries. My editorial work often involves architectural shapes that require internal engineering, such as padding, wire work, and custom structures. I have extensive experience with:
- Structural Updos: Using wire framing and heavy-duty hold to create gravity-defying shapes that remain stable for hours.
- High-Fashion Braids: Intricate braiding patterns often used in editorial shoots to provide a sharp, clean silhouette.
- Commercial Styling: Creating soft, voluminous waves or sleek, polished looks that require a more natural, camera-ready finish.
Why Technical Precision Matters
Styling for a lens is different from styling for a daily look. Studio lights produce heat that can cause hair to lose volume or frizz. I use professional-grade products like Schwarzkopf and TIGI Bed Head to provide firm hold without visible residue, ensuring the look stays consistent throughout a multi-hour shoot.
Working with Me
Collaboration is central to my process. Before we start, I discuss the mood board and garment style to ensure the hair complements the outfit and the artistic direction. I am available for on-location work across Delhi NCR, providing dedicated support for look changes and standby monitoring to handle touch-ups between shots.
