Getting the pleats sharp is only half the battle, ensuring the drape holds firm through an entire wedding ceremony is the real skill. In these sessions, I show you how to manage heavy silks like Kanjeevarams so they stay neat without restricting the bride's movement.
When I teach hairstyling, I know my students want to be complete bridal artists. Clients in Bangalore and across South India expect one person to handle both the hair and the saree. That is why I include saree draping as a complimentary module in my 10-12 day certification course.
We focus entirely on practical, on-the-spot draping. You will learn to handle heavy bridal silks, create clean pallu pleats, and secure the fabric so it does not shift, no matter how long the ceremony lasts. We cover standard South Indian styles, temple wedding drapes, and modern ways to pin the pallu for receptions.
