Celestial and Neon Nights Event Decor
Step into a world where the night sky meets modern luminescence. I create immersive, starlit environments that turn your sangeet or evening gala into a dreamlike journey through the cosmos.
For this sangeet, I envisioned a sky full of stars. The entire ceiling was draped with thousands of crystal strings, anchored by a massive, illuminated lotus structure that bathed the room in a celestial glow.
This view shows the hanging crystal chandeliers and the floating rings of light that added another layer to the celestial theme. The stage features a neon lotus backdrop, tying the whole design together.

The combination of the shimmering crystal curtains and the glowing neon stage created a truly immersive experience, making guests feel as though they were celebrating under a starry night sky.

The entrance corridor was designed to feel like walking through a galaxy. Walls covered in twinkling fairy lights and a ceiling of hanging crystals under a deep blue light set the tone for the celestial journey.

I designed this intimate seating cube as a modern and stylish photo-op. A sleek neon frame is combined with hanging crystal strands and a plush velvet sofa for a touch of glamour.
Set on a raised platform against deep blue curtains, this neon and crystal seating area became a popular spot for guests throughout the night. It's a perfect blend of modern design and classic elegance.

A celestial theme lives or dies by its lighting depth. To pull this off, I use a combination of dense ceiling rigging to create a canopy effect, paired with specific, targeted neon structures that ground the design. It is not just about stringing up lights; it is about masking the venue’s ceiling to create a contained, atmospheric bubble that feels separate from the rest of the hotel.
The secret to a successful celestial setup is control. Venue ceilings often have distracting features that can break the illusion of an infinite starry night. I use heavy drapes in deep blues or blacks to mask the space, effectively turning the ballroom into a blank canvas. Once the shell is set, the layers begin. I rig thousands of crystal strings at varying heights to simulate a starry sky, but I also mix in fiber optics or pinpoint LEDs for the flicker effect.
The neon is where we add the modern touch. A custom neon lotus or an abstract geometric sculpture acts as the anchor point, usually behind the stage or at the entrance. Because these are custom-bent, they allow us to play with line and light, ensuring the decor does not look like a generic party setup. We coordinate the carpet and lounge furniture to match the deep blue and purple palette, ensuring that the starry night concept is not just on the ceiling but wraps around the entire room.
