Modern Balcony and Rooftop Garden Retreats
Transform your unused concrete space into a private green escape. We design functional, low-maintenance retreats, from vertical gardens to custom rooftop decks.
The final result of a balcony transformation. We installed a full-height vertical garden as a stunning backdrop for a wooden swing, complemented by potted plants and hanging baskets to create a lush, private oasis.

About this collection
A balcony garden is only as good as its drainage. We prioritize proper waterproofing and lightweight, rust-proof framing to ensure your roof or balcony can handle the load safely. From installing WPC deck tiles to setting up automated irrigation systems, we build lasting garden structures that resist our local weather, so your space stays clean and functional without constant manual upkeep.
Building for Our Climate
Turning an open balcony or rooftop into a garden requires more than just plants. We approach these spaces as structural projects. Whether you are working with a 100 sq. ft. apartment balcony or a sprawling open terrace, our build process focuses on three pillars: drainage, weight management, and durability.
Our Process
- Smart Flooring: We move away from heavy, moisture-trapping options. We use WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) deck tiles and high-density 35mm artificial turf. These materials are lightweight, weather-resistant, and crucially, they allow water to drain freely rather than pooling and damaging your slab.
- Vertical Green Walls: When ground space is limited, we go up. We install modular geotextile fabric planters mounted on anti-rust, powder-coated metal frames. This system provides excellent root aeration for your plants and includes a collection trough at the bottom to prevent floor staining.
- Automated Maintenance: For most of our clients, watering is the biggest barrier to a thriving garden. We integrate drip irrigation with automatic timers. This ensures your vertical wall and potted plants receive consistent moisture without you needing to lift a watering can.
- Lighting & Ambiance: We wire for climate-resistant LED lighting, including strip lights for decking edges and warm-white spotlights to highlight specimen plants. This turns a daytime garden into a usable evening lounge.
Why Us?
We operate as a full-service team. You do not need to coordinate with a carpenter for the deck, an electrician for the lights, and a plumber for the irrigation. We handle the entire execution from start to finish, ensuring that your rooftop or balcony retreat is ready to use the moment we hand over the keys.
Grafted Greens
We are Grafted Greens, and we look at concrete balconies and rooftops as blank canvases for nature. We don't just dump pots in a corner; we build structural, sustainable garden systems that actually last. Our goal is to make sure your space feels like a calm, quiet place to disconnect.
