Plated dinners are about flow. Since we manage course-by-course service, we require a 1.5 to 2-hour setup window before your guests arrive to arrange the stoneware, cutlery, and glassware. This style is ideal for intimate gatherings where the focus is on conversation rather than standing in buffet lines.
Moving from a buffet setup to a plated dining format changes the energy of a room. When you choose this style, the kitchen moves to the background and the dining table becomes the main stage. Our team handles everything from the initial soup or amuse-bouche to the final plated dessert, ensuring the pacing matches the mood of your evening.
What we bring to your table
- The Hardware: We arrive with premium stoneware, crystal glassware, and silver or gold-finish cutlery that complements your venue decor.
- The Service: Professional waitstaff is included at a ratio of approximately 1 server for every 4-5 guests. This ensures that every plate arrives warm and precisely garnished, just as it would in a fine-dining establishment.
- Personalization: Every guest receives a printed menu card with their name, adding a thoughtful detail to the place setting.
Practical details to consider
This format requires a dedicated kitchen or staging area for our chefs to do final plating and garnishing. We coordinate with you beforehand to assess your space and ensure we have the necessary clearance to execute a seamless 4-5 course service. If you are hosting a romantic dinner for two or a milestone celebration, this is the most effective way to ensure you actually sit down and enjoy the meal with your guests, rather than managing the food service yourself.
