Show & Tell: Building Confidence in Our Little Speakers
We believe in letting children find their voice. Our regular Show & Tell sessions help students research, prepare, and speak with confidence in front of their peers.
Our little stars bring history to life, enacting the story of India's freedom struggle. This performance builds confidence and a deep connection to our nation's history.
A student shares the story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," highlighting the importance of healthy eating habits in a creative and engaging way.
A young champion shares fascinating facts about the Olympics, from its ancient Greek origins to the meaning of the Olympic rings, inspiring his peers.
Our young learners share their knowledge about plants, discussing how they grow, their different parts, and their importance to our planet.
More of our little astronauts take the stage to share their knowledge of the solar system, from the biggest planets to their personal favorites.

Our 'Show & Tell' on the monsoon season continues, with students reciting poems, sharing facts, and using creative props to talk about the rain.
About Finding Their Voice: Show & Tell Presentations
Each Show & Tell presentation begins with a child's personal interest. Whether a student chooses to bring a model of the solar system or explain the monsoon with a raincoat, we help them structure their thoughts before they take the stage. This provides the gentle scaffolding they need to articulate ideas clearly, turning a simple presentation into a meaningful lesson in public speaking and self-expression.
How We Build Confidence Through Speech
Public speaking is a life skill that starts early. At our Montessori center in HSR Layout, we view Show & Tell as a core developmental activity rather than a simple class routine. By giving children the autonomy to choose their topics—from the lifecycle of a caterpillar to the planets in our galaxy—we encourage them to research, observe, and organize their thoughts.
The Montessori Approach to Presentation
Unlike traditional settings where children might memorize a script, our students are guided to speak from their own understanding.
- Vocabulary Development: Kids describe their props using their own words, which naturally expands their vocabulary.
- Cognitive Clarity: They learn to sequence their ideas, understanding the relationship between the facts they share and the questions they answer.
- Peer Learning: When one child presents on the monsoon, their peers are not just spectators; they are actively learning through their friend's research, experiments, and creativity.
This process is supported by our NPS-mentored curriculum, ensuring that while the delivery is child-led, the underlying developmental goals are met. We observe each child's pace, offering support where needed to help them move from shy observers to confident stage stars, ready for primary school and beyond.
Global Montessori Centre and Play Home
We believe childhood is about letting kids bloom at their own pace, not just running a race. We don't just run a school; we create a space where every child's voice matters, ensuring they leave us as curious, confident, and independent learners.
