De-shedding isn't just about removing loose fur, it is about helping your dog regulate their body temperature. For double-coated breeds like Huskies and Retrievers, my process uses a high-velocity blowout to clear out the undercoat, preventing hot spots and keeping their skin healthy, all while keeping them relaxed and comfortable in the Bengaluru heat.

My Approach to Large Breeds
Every session at my Indiranagar studio is tailored to the specific needs of your dog:
- Intense De-Shedding: I use professional-grade raking tools to remove dead undercoat from Retrievers and Huskies, which drastically reduces the amount of fur you find around your house.
- The Bathing Experience: I use my own 'Funky Furz' pH-balanced shampoos. These are gentle on the skin but tough on dirt, ensuring a deep clean without stripping the coat of natural oils.
- Precision Styling: Whether it is a breed-standard cut for a Spaniel or a neat silhouette for a German Shepherd, I finish with careful hand-scissoring. This gives a natural, polished look rather than a jagged, machine-clipped finish.
- Hygiene Essentials: Every large breed session includes paw pad shaving for better grip on tiles, nail clipping, and deep ear cleaning to prevent infections.
