I create pre-wedding spaces that go beyond basic drapes, blending traditional genda phool with modern themes like Moroccan tiles. Whether you want a cozy Haldi or a high-energy Mehendi, I make your venue reflect your personality.

A funky and artistic photo booth for a Haldi ceremony. This backdrop features quirky illustrations of a bride and groom, with 3D elements made from fresh genda phool (marigolds).

A wide view of a sunflower-themed Haldi setup. The canopy of yellow and white drapes, along with the matching seating, creates a bright, cohesive, and festive environment.

A traditional Haldi or Mehendi stage setup. I used a backdrop of marigold garlands, a rustic carved wooden door, and large urlis for a classic and auspicious feel.

For a unique Haldi, I designed this backdrop combining Moroccan blue tiles with bright yellow sunflowers. The arched panels create a beautiful contrast and a vibrant setting.

This video provides a tour of the Moroccan-themed Haldi event. It highlights the main stage, the coordinated guest seating, and the floral jewelry, all tying into the blue and yellow sunflower concept.

A video look at a vibrant multicolor Mehendi. The setup includes a canopy of colorful drapes, a quirky photo booth, and low seating areas, creating a festive mela-like atmosphere.

This video shows the details of a colorful indoor Mehendi. I used bright pink and orange fabrics, marigold flower details, and traditional peacock motifs to create a rich and festive look.

About Vibrant Haldi & Mehendi Festivities

My favourite part is using full-floor masking to hide venue carpets, especially at places like Siddharth Banquets. It makes the space look clean and intentional, allowing those vibrant Haldi yellows or Mehendi motifs to stand out without clashing with the venue's existing flooring.

Planning a Haldi or Mehendi function is about balancing traditional rituals with a fun, party vibe. I have found that the best setups happen when we treat the venue as a blank canvas, even in established spots like Hiravati Banquet in Santacruz or Siddharth Banquet in Andheri.

For my marigold-themed events, I go heavy on fresh flower latkans and traditional drapes. But for the modern couple who wants something different, I love introducing Moroccan blue tiles or geometric patterns. These contrasts—like mixing bright yellow sunflowers with cool blue tones—add a layer of visual interest that standard decor often misses.

We focus on seating comfort, using floor cushions or curated sofa placements, and ensuring the lighting complements your photos. For Mehendi nights, I prioritize comfortable, low-height seating that keeps the energy social and intimate. If you are leaning towards a mela theme, we bring in umbrellas, tassels, and quirky signage to create that festive rush.

Keep in mind that outdoor spaces need different considerations for draping due to wind and Mumbai's humidity, so I always structure our installations to be weather-resilient while maintaining that light, breezy aesthetic. Whether you have a Pinterest board ready or need help visualising your vibe, I am here to build the details that make the photos worth sharing.
