About Our Cage-Free Haven
Here is how we keep the gang happy: my team is always on the floor with them, whether it is for playtime in our 10,000 sq ft yard or a group cuddle on the indoor mats. Because we run a 100% cage-free home, your pet sleeps on real sofas or floor mattresses in our communal halls, ensuring even the shyest visitors feel right at home with us.
At Forest Friend's Shack in Hulimavu, we do not believe in kennels. We believe in living room naps, backyard zoomies, and endless belly rubs. This is not just a business for us, it is our home, and we treat every dog, cat, and bunny who walks through our gate like one of our own 'cartoons' with their own big personality.
Our Space
We offer over 10,890 sq ft of secure, fenced-in territory. It is pure joy for them to run wild, and it is safe because we have high walls and constant human supervision. For our feline friends, we have completely separate, quiet zones to keep their stress levels low and their comfort levels high.
The Daily Routine
- Playtime: 4-6 hours of off-leash access to our outdoor yard for socializing and burning energy.
- Chill Time: When it gets hot, everyone moves indoors under the fans to nap on human-grade mattresses and sofas.
- Meals & Safety: We feed every pet individually to ensure everyone gets their share, and we keep large, energetic breeds separate from the tiny ones during playgroups so everyone stays safe. Mashaallah, it is wonderful to watch them open up and make new friends.
Whether you need boarding for a playful puppy or a senior dog who just wants a quiet spot to lounge, we adapt to their rhythm. We are here to make sure they get the affection they miss when you are away.
