Is your kid wearing the right shoe for football? This guide will help you choose the right one for your child.

Football is a game of sprints, turns, and hard kicks. The right shoe provides traction, ankle support, and impact protection, allowing your child to play worry-free.

The right tool for the right job makes growth easier. The wrong shoe can lead to mistakes, bad performances, and slow growth, without any fault of the child.

There are different shoes for different ground types. Here is a list of the main types: Firm Ground (FG), Artificial Ground (AG), Indoor, and Mixed Ground (MG).

For natural grass pitches, shoes with studs (Firm Ground) are ideal. They provide the necessary grip and stability to prevent slipping.

For artificial grass, shoes with shorter and more numerous studs (Artificial Ground) are best. They provide better traction on artificial surfaces.

We are proud to have a nutrition program led by clinical dietician Kanikka Malhotra. Good nutritional habits give your child an extra boost in strength, stamina, speed, and even decision-making.

About Expert Guidance for Parents & Players

Choosing the right shoe is the first step to avoiding injuries on the pitch. If your child plays on natural grass, they need studs for traction. On artificial turf, flat trainers or specific AG (artificial ground) soles are essential to prevent ankle rolls and slips. It is a small change, but it makes a massive difference in their comfort and confidence during those quick turns.
