Standard Mughlai Buffet
Food & Beverage
- Welcome Drinks: 2 varieties of pre-prepared mocktails (Roohafza/Lemon based) served in standard glass tumblers.
- Starters: 3 varieties total. Includes 2 Non-Veg items (Chicken Russian Cutlet & Seekh) and 1 Veg item (Paneer Tikka or Spring Roll).
- Main Course: Signature Chicken or Mutton Dum Biryani (Mumbai style), 2 Gravies (Chicken Korma/Masala + Veg Kadai), and assorted hot Tandoori Roti/Naan.
- Accompaniments: Boondi Raita, Green Salad slices, Pickle, Papad.
- Dessert: 1 Traditional item like Matka Firni or Malpua with Rabdi.
Service & Setup
- Dining Style: Buffet setup with copper/steel chaffing dishes.
- Staff: Uniformed waiters for clearing and refilling (Ratio: 1 waiter per 25 guests).
- Crockery: Standard white ceramic or high-quality melamine plates with stainless steel cutlery.
- Water: 200ml sealed plastic water bottles.

Signature Live Experiences & Starters
- Welcome Bar: 3-4 Fancy Mocktails (Blue Lagoon, Mojitos) with garnish and optional dry-ice smoke effects.
- Unlimited Starters: 5-6 varieties including Premium Seafood, Fish Koliwada, and Mutton Chops. Served in shot glasses or on wooden platters.
- Live Cooking Stations: Select 2-3 options such as vertical Shawarma rotisserie, Tawa counter (Baida Roti/Gurda Kaleji), or Turkish Sand Coffee.
Royal Main Course
- Centerpiece: Raan Musallam or Raan Bukhara (Whole Leg of Lamb) served in a large thaal.
- Biryani & Sides: Choice of Premium Zaffrani Mutton or White Biryani, rich gravies like Nalli Nihari or Butter Chicken, Roomali Roti, and Butter Naan.
Dessert & Setup
- Live Sweet Counter: Hot Jalebi or Malpua fried live in ghee, served with thick Rabdi.
- Staffing: Higher ratio (1:15) with head steward supervision.
- Presentation: Buffet display with floral centerpieces, brass serving ware, and glass crockery.

The Bucket Concept
- Scope: Pure food delivery via logistics partners. Does not include waiters, setup, or crockery.
- Packaging: Food packed in industrial-grade, spill-proof plastic buckets or aluminium foil containers. Keeps food hot for 45-60 minutes.
Menu Options (Weight Based)
- Chicken Dum Biryani: 1 Kg serves approx 3-4 moderate eaters (Contains ~750g meat + rice/masala).
- Mutton Dum Biryani: 1 Kg serves approx 3-4 moderate eaters.
- Add-ons: Gravies like Chicken Bhuna or Green Masala available by weight. Raan (Leg of Lamb) available as a standalone piece.

Our Story & Food Philosophy
Since 1992, hum log (we) have been part of Mumbai’s biggest and smallest celebrations. My father, Haji Riyaz Shaikh, started Farhaad Restaurant & Caterers with one rule: QUALITY FIRST. Aaj bhi (Even today), I follow his legacy. We’re known for food that guests actually remember and talk about. Sab ne tareef ki hai (Everyone has praised it), and that’s honestly our biggest achievement.

My Story
Assalamualaikum. Humne 1992 mein chulha jalaya tha, bas ek sapna tha - asli Mughlai khana sabko khilana. Ab mashallah, 30 saal se zyada ho gaye, laakhon logon ne hamare haath ka zaayka taste kiya hai. Ramadan aata hai toh sabse zyada khushi hoti hai, Iftar boxes banate hain dil se. Jab koi bolta hai 'khaana zabardast tha', wahi hamari asli kamayi hai. Duaon mein yaad rakhna.
