About Statement Seating: Accent Chairs, Benches & Ottomans
Every piece here begins with your choice of material, whether it is high-performance, stain-resistant velvet or textured bouclé that fits your daily lifestyle. I hand-select the brass accents and PVD finishes to ensure that even the smallest chair feels like a permanent fixture of your home, not just an afterthought.
When I design an accent chair or an ottoman, I look for the balance between visual impact and everyday usability. A chair should not just look good in a photo, it needs to be the seat you gravitate toward for your morning coffee or evening reading.
Customization and Craftsmanship
In my Delhi workshop, we start by analyzing the space. Is it for a cozy reading nook in a bedroom, or a focal point in your living room? I use seasoned Marandi wood frames for durability, ensuring these pieces last for years. For the cushioning, I prefer 40-50 density High Resilience (HR) foam, which provides the perfect mix of support and comfort.
Material Palette
The selection of fabric and finish is where your personality comes through. I specialize in:
- Textured Fabrics: Including bouclé and suedes that add depth and tactile warmth to a room.
- Rich Velvets: Perfect for deeper colors like royal blue, magenta, or emerald, adding a touch of luxury.
- Metal Accents: Every chair features custom brass or PVD-coated steel detailing, whether it is the leg ferrules or the chair frame itself.
Versatility
An accent chair should offer flexibility. My designs include swivel-base armchairs for open-plan living and compact, fluted-back chairs that serve as both seating and sculptural art. If you have an existing furniture theme, be it mid-century modern or contemporary luxury, I adjust the silhouette, armrest profile, and piping details to match seamlessly.
