Big group shots can feel stiff, but they do not have to be. I take a step back during the rituals to catch the spontaneous hugs between friends, and when it is time for the formal portraits, I set the light so everyone looks natural and relaxed rather than forced.
The wedding day is crowded, noisy, and fast. My job is to find the quiet space between the chaos where real emotion happens. While my traditional photographer handles the necessary stage shots and family lineups, I am usually on the periphery, watching for the moments you might miss.
