Sacred Vows and Ceremony Photography
Every ritual has its own quiet magic. I focus on documenting the raw emotion of your ceremony, from the intensity of the vows to the relief afterwards, without ever interrupting the flow.
The moment she says "I do." This shot captures the Christian wedding ceremony from the bride's perspective, focusing on the groom and the officiant under a beautiful floral arch.

About Sacred Vows & Ceremonies
During your ceremony, my team and I stay in the background using silent shutter mirrorless cameras. We rely on fast, prime lenses that let us capture intimate expressions from a distance, so the officiant, the family, and the sacred space remain the focus of the moment, not us.
When I am documenting a ceremony, I look for the transition points where the gravity of the ritual meets the vulnerability of the couple. Whether it is an Anand Karaj, a Christian ceremony, or a traditional Hindu wedding, these moments move quickly and once they pass, they are gone. My approach is to be patient, much like the turtle I named my studio after.
How I Capture Ceremonies
- Unobtrusive Presence: We do not direct the ritual. I use low-profile equipment to ensure we are never a distraction to you or your guests. We want the video audio to capture the vows and laughter, not the sound of photographers moving around.
- Focus on Ritual Details: The way hands are held, the look exchanged between partners, the reaction of the parents in the front row. These are the details that build the story of your ceremony.
- Lighting Control: For indoor ceremonies in Gurudwaras or temples where flash might be prohibited or intrusive, I use natural light and high-ISO capable gear to maintain the authentic mood of the space.
- Destination Experience: From the open-air backdrop of a fort in Tijara to quiet hill station ceremonies, I am comfortable adapting to the unique lighting and architectural challenges of any venue.
My job is to hold the space for these memories so that when you look back at your film or album years later, you remember the promise you made, not the camera that was pointed at you.
Eye of Turtle
Hey, I am Anand. I call my approach the Eye of Turtle because I believe in being patient and observant during your most sacred moments. I am just there to witness your journey and press record while you focus on each other.
