Urban Terrace and Balcony Makeovers
Your terrace is a canvas waiting for a touch of nature. I started this journey on my own balcony, seeking peace, and now my team helps you turn your outdoor space into an urban sanctuary with custom seating, pergolas, and smart planting.
A terrace can become your private sanctuary, especially at night. We designed this space with a cozy seating area, a functional bar, and a beautiful lawn with stone pathways, all illuminated by soft lighting to create a magical ambiance.
This terrace seating area is designed for ultimate relaxation. We paired comfortable, natural-fiber furniture with a vertical garden wall and potted plants to create a space that feels both stylish and connected to nature.
The final details make all the difference. This terrace features a beautiful wooden pergola with flowering vines, a comfortable L-shaped sofa, and integrated planters with up-lighting, creating a polished and inviting outdoor living room.
Even a simple terrace can become a refreshing space for work or relaxation. For this project, we focused on natural freshness, using a few large potted plants and simple string lighting to create a beautiful ambiance without any fancy decor.
A bar counter on a terrace is the perfect social hub. We design these spaces to be both functional and stylish, using elements like eye-catching backsplashes, statement lighting, and of course, plenty of greenery to inject personality.
Here are a few snapshots from a beautiful terrace garden we completed. It has all the key elements: a lovely pergola for shade, cozy seating, lush greenery, and a mesmerizing water feature that ties it all together.
Visiting our project sites is a therapeutic journey for me. This video captures me inspecting the progress on a terrace garden, where we are turning our client's vision of a peaceful retreat into a reality, one step at a time.
About this collection
One thing I always tell clients: don't just pick plants based on how they look. We spend time assessing sunlight patterns and wind direction on your specific floor because what survives on the ground level often struggles on the 10th floor. We don't just place plants, we create a micro-climate that actually lasts.
How We Design Your Outdoor Oasis
Every project starts with a reality check. We don't guess what will grow on your terrace; we look at the sun path, wind exposure, and drainage. My team and I handle the entire process, moving from a 3D visualization to the final installation.
Step 1: The Blueprint We create detailed 3D designs so you know exactly where the pergola sits and how the lighting hits the walls before we drill a single hole. Our design fee covers site assessment and material mood boards, and the best part is that 50% of this fee gets deducted from your final execution bill if you decide to proceed with us.
Step 2: Structural Foundation For balconies and terraces, the hardscape is just as important as the plants. We build functional additions like mild steel pergolas with wood-finish louvers, WPC decking, and built-in concrete seating. We often use High Pressure Laminate (HPL) or terracotta brick tiles to clad parapets, which instantly upgrades the look from a basic apartment slab to a finished room.
Step 3: The Greenery We curate your plant palette. We source mature specimen trees like Ficus or Plumeria that can thrive in containers, paired with modular vertical gardens for those tight corners. We use lightweight media like coco peat so you don't have to worry about excessive weight load on your balcony slab.
Step 4: The Finishing Glow Lighting changes the vibe entirely. We use integrated LED profile lights in seating grooves, grazing lights for feature walls, and spike lights to dramatize tree canopies. It makes the space feel like a lounge, even at night.
