Leaps, Tumbles & Flips for Kids
Watching a child nail a back handspring is amazing. Our classes in Banashankari turn cartwheels, rolls, and flips into fun, safe play for every child.
A perfect example of coach-assisted learning for advanced skills. Here, a student masters the wall flip with direct support from an instructor, building the muscle memory and confidence needed to perform the move independently.
This young gymnast practices a running front flip against our padded wall mats. This drill is excellent for developing spatial awareness, power, and safe landing techniques for acrobatic movements.
Partner cartwheels are a fantastic way to learn proper form and build teamwork. One student acts as a stable base while the other pivots over, creating a fun and interactive drill for mastering this fundamental gymnastic skill.
The back walkover is a beautiful display of flexibility and control. This student demonstrates the fluid motion of arching backward into a bridge and kicking over, a key skill in our floor gymnastics training.
Here, a student practices her front walkover, a move that combines a handstand with a forward bridge kick-over. This exercise is great for developing shoulder strength, flexibility, and body control.
This video showcases a student working on her front and back kickovers on a soft mat. These are foundational tumbling skills that build the strength and coordination needed for more complex walkovers and handsprings.
We combine different floor movements to improve balance and flow. This student performs a sequence including a handstand and a cartwheel, demonstrating how we link skills together in artistic gymnastics.
About this collection
Safety is our priority before any child learns to flip. We do not just jump into aerials; we spend time on grip training, landing mechanics, and conditioning on our padded beams. You will see your child build the necessary core strength and spatial awareness long before they attempt their first wall flip.
Building Strength Through Play
Learning a flip isn't just about acrobatics; it is about building a foundation. At our Infinity Fitness Studio in Banashankari, we use a structured progression to ensure every child feels confident. We start with fundamental motor skills—bridge walks, forward rolls, and cartwheels—on our 25mm thick EVA puzzle mats. These mats provide a safe landing zone, so your child can experiment without fear.
The 'Elite Squad' Method
We keep our classes tight, with one coach for every 8 to 10 students. This means your child gets consistent spotting and form correction. You will often hear us shouting, 'Eradu kaalallu jump madabeku' (jump with both legs) or 'Soft aagi land aagbeku' (land softly). These aren't just rules; they are the techniques that prevent injury and build the explosive power needed for advanced moves like back handsprings and saltos.
Progression Ladder
We don't believe in forcing skills. We follow a clear progression:
- Basics: Mastering balance, cartwheels, and forward rolls.
- Intermediate: Introducing kickovers, bridge arches, and sequence flows.
- Advanced: Wall flips, back handsprings, and aerial conditioning.
Whether your child is here for fun or is interested in competitive athletic training, the goal remains the same: building resilience and focus. We mix these drills with agility games and obstacle courses to make sure the work never feels like a chore.
Elite Squad Gymnastics Academy
We are Elite Squad, and we’re basically a loud, happy family. Gymnastics here isn't about rigid pressure; it’s about watching your kid laugh while they nail a cartwheel or conquer an obstacle course. We keep it real with plenty of high-fives, some silliness, and dedicated spotting to make sure every landing is soft and safe.
