Our Learning Environment & Philosophy
We believe your child’s environment is the third teacher. Our Panathur campus is intentionally designed to move past rote memorization, fostering real-world mastery through hands-on innovation and purpose-based learning.

About Our Learning Environment & Philosophy
At Ekya Nava, we view our campus architecture as a tool for development. From our Makery to the Atelier, every space is designed to encourage collaboration and the kind of creative mess that leads to genuine discovery. We prioritize a Reggio Emilia inspired approach, ensuring that when children engage with our environment, they are not just passively absorbing information but actively constructing their own understanding of the world around them.
Our philosophy centers on the transition from memorization to mastery. We know that traditional classrooms often limit how a child perceives their potential, so we have built a campus that acts as a laboratory for the mind.
The Environment as a Teacher
We draw heavily from the Reggio Emilia approach, which posits that the environment is the third teacher. In our Panathur campus, you will notice that the hallways, the common areas, and our specialized studios are free of clutter and filled with natural light, purpose-built to foster concentration and artistic expression.
Why Purpose-Based Learning Matters
We do not believe in filling days with tasks. We believe in providing a framework where students define their own paths through tracks like design thinking, IT and society, or innovation and entrepreneurship. By integrating these tracks into our physical space, children learn that their workspace impacts their output. Whether it is a project in our wood-and-clay heavy Makery or a reflective session in our AV-equipped seminar halls, the space dictates the energy of the learning.
A Space for Families
We also design our campus for you. Parenthood is the lynchpin of a child's success, and our facility includes zones dedicated to conscious parenting workshops and community bonding. We want you to feel that this is a place where you, too, can grow, observe your child’s creative process, and connect with other families who share the goal of raising resilient, curious, and thoughtful individuals. This is not just a school; it is a shared journey of development.
Ekya Nava
I started Ekya Nava because the traditional schooling model just didn't fit the future our kids are walking into. Here, we aren't just teaching students; we are working alongside families to cultivate curiosity and design-thinking skills that last a lifetime.
