About Our Players & Academy Life
The guys you see in these photos are not here for show. At DSL, we maintain strict student-to-coach ratios so your game actually gets critiqued, not just watched. While most academies treat nets as a daycare, our players are on turf wickets three days a week with coaches who stop them mid-ball to fix your grip or stance. You get personal attention, not a shouting match from the sidelines.
Why We Are Different
Most academies are about numbers. They take as many students as possible, pack them into the nets, and call it coaching. We do the opposite. We keep our batches small because we are interested in producing cricketers, not just collecting fees.
Life on the Pitch
When you train with us at the Rajaji 2 Cricket Ground, you aren't just standing in a queue for your turn. You are doing functional fitness, working on cricket-specific drills, and playing on turf wickets. Matting wickets are fine for beginners, but they do not teach you how to handle bounce or seam movement. We move you to turf as soon as you are ready so you learn the actual game.
Beyond the Nets
Real cricket happens under pressure, not during a leisurely net session. Every week, we run competitive match practice. If you are part of our academy, you are not just a trainee. You are part of a squad. We track your performance on CricHeroes, which gives you digital stats to show how you are actually improving. If you are good enough, you get called up to the Delhi Super League (DSL) trials. This is where you get noticed.
Join the Hard Work
If you want a soft, easy environment where nobody pushes you to be better, please look elsewhere. But if you want to understand your own game, improve your technique, and play matches that actually count, we are the right place. Come for a trial, see the environment, and decide for yourself.
