About Mural Painting
My View on Murals
I look at every wall like it's waiting for a story. My work is a mix of personal memories and the tough, quiet efforts people make every day - I call it subconscious struggle. Many of my murals bring in patterns from old tribal handicrafts, especially bamboo weaving. It’s my way of showing respect to those skills that are getting lost.
What I Paint
I don’t stick to just one style. If you want a mural, I’ll listen to your idea and create something that fits your space and vibe. My range includes:
- Tribal handicraft mural and cultural portraits (think Rajasthani, Radha Krishna)
- Cityscape mural painting with Mumbai landmarks or doodle-style sketches
- Nature-inspired murals - waterfalls, forests, animals
- 3D illusion mural for a dramatic effect, like trucks bursting through walls
- Realistic portraits or expressive human forms
- Modern decorative stuff - mandalas for yoga studios, abstract designs
Where You’ll Find My Work
My murals are in cafes, restaurants, offices, universities, stadiums, public buildings, and homes, both inside and outside - sometimes on walls as tall as 50 feet.
How I Work
I stick with acrylic wall art because it lasts and pops on all kinds of surfaces, whether the wall's smooth or rough. Big projects - I call in my trusted artist friends so we nail the deadline and quality.
I’m Based In
Mumbai and Odisha (Bhubaneswar, Bramhapur), but honestly, I’ll travel anywhere in India for a good mural project.

My Story
I’m Pratap. Mostly, I paint what I feel, what I remember from home. My village, people made everything from bamboo and palm leaves - now, that craft’s nearly gone. I learned art at Sir J.J. School but my heart’s with those old woven shapes. My work tries to keep those memories alive, and talks about how we all keep struggling inside, just like our ancestors did. That’s what I want to say with every brush stroke.
My Work
Conceptual Contemporary Paintings - I make paintings with a special bamboo texture, showing life’s silent struggles and tribal roots.
Murals and 3D Street Art - I create murals for restaurants, universities, and public spaces, often using tribal handicraft themes.
Live Pencil Sketches & Portraits - I sketch people live, and take commissions for realistic family or individual portraits.
Mediums I Use - Mostly acrylic on canvas, but sometimes watercolor, oil, and pencil depending on the mood and story.
